It has been a little over a week since my abdominoplasty and I'm very happy with the results so far. Dr. Ortegon was very nice. He did not pressure me to do anything I did not want to. He was very positive and gave me his undivided attention. I was very explicit about what results I wanted and he came up with a plan that worked for me. The staff has been amazing as well. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the procedure done at Cumberland Surgical Hospital. I can't wait to see how I look in 6 weeks. :)

My experience with Dr. Delio Ortegon and his entire staff could not have been any better. I felt so very comfortable and welcomed by such a sweet, organized and professional office staff. When going into room to take photos, nurse asked what procedure I was coming in for, and when I said a tummy tuck she responded, "But you're so thin!" Which felt judgemental and ill informed. Consultation with doctor was okay, but was very brief. Dr. Ortegon did not once ask if I had any questions or concerns and I have many that went unaddressed. Doctor did not at all go over possible risks and complications, nor did he ask me what my aesthetic goals are. All of this made me feel like I was just another procedure and not like anyone cared about what I wanted or what I was concerned about. This made me leave feeling like I am unlikely to move forward with surgery with this clinic. I do not want to entrust my health, safety, aesthetic goals, and hard earned cash with a clinic that doesn't even take the time to even ASK if I have any questions or what my goals are.

to rushed. didnt get botox amount needed. i feel still need a touch up. which is rare. i always reced great results. but forehead area still looks the same....maybe staff tired of me sholud not go there any longer. alos front desk staff refuse to give me excuse for work. i explained i has get one each visit. they told me show receipt to employer, very un professional

I had my consultation yesterday with dr. Delio Ortegon. I was able to sit down with him and go over all the details of my surgery. He was patient with me, and my many questions. I have my surgery in November and now I'm just so excited to get it done.. I wish i could do it sooner! Lisa was so awesome through this process.. such a sweetheart. She helped me get my finances in order.. I never thought the day would come I could actually get my boobs fixed.. I'm still in shock that I'm actually going to be getting then done.. something I have dreamed about since I was 14 when I first started getting my boobs. This is a long time coming!

I had never experienced such fast surgery and in such a professional way. To begin Dr. Ortegon has fantastic bedside manners. Cumberland hospital had the most cleaned and fantastic service. To add the anesthesiologist Dr. Seatrunk gave me enough anesthesia not to feel anything and to wake up with no side effects... he did a great job...following day I went for a follow up at Dr. Ortegon's office and Cynthia took care of me... I cannot express how fast,professional, great care I received from Dr. Ortegon and all his staff. Thank you

I've only been in for my pre-op. But, from the very start, Lisa has been so informative! She's been so helpful, she's answered all of my questions, she's helped reassure me that I am in good hands with Dr. Ortegon. From showing me his previous work, to letting me know that a lot of women come to their office to have revisions done, and letting me know that he is a reconstructive surgeon. I've read his reviews and seen a lot of good things. I've looked at his work compared to others and I really love his work. His augmentation is look so natural! I really liked the 3D picture simulation. Dr. Ortegon was able to sit in the room with me and go over exactly what I wanted my augmentation to look like. I was able to see what my end results would be. He was able to help me find the exact size that I was looking for and he didn't try to pressure me to go bigger than I really wanted. He could really understand what I was looking! I'm so excited to have my surgery. Lisa was able to schedule it on a day that won't conflict with my work schedule. I'm so excited that I was able to get this date!! So awesome so accommodating! I can't wait to have my procedure! I've been waiting on this for many, many years. I can't believe it's finally going to happen. I have my augmentation scheduled in November I'll definitely post some pictures after! And let you all know how well it goes!

My experience with Nicole was good; however, she told me to call her personally to make my follow-up appt. for a 2nd session of Coolsculpting (because she said she likes to do her own appt. scheduling). I called on Monday (7/10) and was told by the receptionist that Nicole was with a patient and would call me back when finished. This is day 4 and I haven't heard from anyone.

My initial contacts to schedule a consultation, the turn around time to get back with me, the follow up and follow thru were excellent. The back office staff and the Dr had a great attitude and bedside manner. The ONLY negative thing I have to provide feedback about which almost caused me to turn around and walk out was the following experience. My appt made with Lisa was finalized as 4:30. When I received the reminder, it said 4:15 (which she had first suggested) After conversations with Lisa after I received the reminder, I mentioned to her that the reminder said 4:15 and the earliest I could commit to getting there (as previously discussed) was 4:30. Lisa told me not to worry, they would accommodate me and it was probably so that I could come in and fill out my paperwork, but because I was going to have it Pre-filled, it would be fine. As I am parking in the lot, I receive a phone call but couldn't answer as I was parking. When I got out of my car and began walking up to the building, I listened to the message. It was a message from the office. The message states; "Hi this message is for Elizabeth, my name is Elena calling from SA Cosmetic surgery. I see that you were scheduled for 4:15 with Dr Ortegon, it is now 4:19 and if you're going to reschedule you can call me back at......" This was Unacceptable and I did not appreciate the call nor did I think it was professional at all! I mentioned as I checked in that I had just heard that message and that it was inappropriate and I was very put out by the message. The young lady expressed to me that it was because she thought maybe I was lost because some people get lost. That was NOT what her message said and I was ready to walk right out of the office. That was the ONE thing that almost made me go to another doctor. I realize a Dr's time is very important but I worked with Lisa from the very beginning about not being able to arrive until 4:30. I don't think that is a very respectful process that is set by this office.

I know that nurses and doctors are very busy and see many people through out the day but I don't feel that the staff even spent enough time in the room with me before surgery to ask if I had any questions. They didn't give me FAQS or inform me of anything except what they weren't liable for. I went into my surgery blind and came out blind. Not literally. But thank god for YouTube. So customer service could use a little work

Their customer service is outstanding!! The girls that work there are all really nice and polite as soon as you walk in. Since I first visit the office of Dr. Ortegon, the personnel could have not been nicer to me. I consider their attitude friendly in a very professional manner. Dr. Ortegon himself has a very personable demeanor. He has shown great consideration and is doing all in his power to make sure that I am happy with my decision to seek his services. This is my second time getting lip filler and I absolutely love them! Cynthia did such a great job, she is gentle, quick, and answers all my questions. My entire appointment was quick only a few minutes waiting for my appointment and the procedure was just as quick. The staff is very kind. My only negative experience was that I called prior to making my appointment to inquire about the promotions going on, and the receptionist advised me there was $200 off lip fillers, and when I checked out I was surprised to find out, there was no promotional offer, it was full price. I was a little disappointed to be given wrong information since it's was more than I expected. Luckily Tania helped me with pricing. It wasn't the full $200 but I was glad they were able to help me out. I really hope something like that doesn't happen again because I really love the results, and having someone who knows how to do great lip injections. That's pretty much the reason I gave it 4 starts, but as far as the process and results definitely 5 stars.

It has been 3 weeks since I had dermal filler applied to my under eyes area at this location. I still have a bump on my right side in the are where the filler was applied. It looks like a permanent bruise now. I have used fillers before in a different place than this one by another plastic surgeon and never had any issues. Can I please have my money back? This is not the result I expected, looks worse then before. I hope this result will go away within a year, but I am worried now that it will not.

My one suggestion would be to cover some of the items (what to expect) during the consultation. I was a bit nervous when I started reading the 4 pages of information and found out that patients may experience Vasovagal (which I do w/ any procedure). It would have allowed me the opportunity to take something to relax and have someone available to pick me up after the procedure. I did end up getting sick to my stomach after I left your office and remained that way until the next morning. However, Nicole was very patient and accommodating with my hesitance and we did complete the entire session. I'll reserve saying anything about the procedure until I see what kind of results I get in a few months! The other thing that would be nice is to call and check on your patients the next day.

The staff and physican were very welcoming and proffesional and answered all of my questions thoroughly. However, when I met with the coordinator to discuss billing, and scheduling of my procedure she referred to me by a different name, twice. Then the next day, when I called back to schedule my pre-op appointment she had already forgotten who I was and called me by a different name. Again. It made me feel like I was not very important to their practice. When you are spending a significant amount of money and you have many medical practices to choose from, you want to be remembered as a patient and made to feel like you are not just one more procedure to schedule. This was my first visit and I felt so comfortable with the entire staff from the front office till the end of my visit. Dr.Ortegon took the time to explain and go through every step of the procedure I was inquiring about. He never rushed and was concerned about my health. This was my visit to a second opinion about the procedure. I can honestly say if I found another doctor that would do the procedure for less money I would NOT change my mind about choosing Dr.Ortegon

I had my implants and tummy tuck done by Dr. Ortegon. I was and am still very pleased with the result and the interactions I have had with him and his staff. Dr. O removed a skin tag from my eyelid that was blocking my vision a bit. He was very professional, explained step by step what he was doing, and most importantly he was swift with the procedure taking literally only minutes. Since the removal I've been able to hold my head up as the growth was messing with my self esteem, and now I have no headaches either as the eyesight in that eye is no longer impaired. They are all professional and don't pressure you into anything and make you aware of all of you options.

19 day follow appointment, was looking forward to see Dr. B. And discussing concerns and questions which I wrote down. Felt rushed through the vist. Didn't feel like I should have to ask the dr to stay as he was rushing out the dr. This is not the first time I have had this experience. The front office staff were okay. Could have been more friendly and welcoming at first but they were not rude. The nurse was friendly and warm. I waited about 10 minutes before she called me back. Dr Ortegon was awesome! Didn't take long for him to come in and conduct his consultation. Lisa was also a pleasure to deal with! Lisa's high energy and warm demeanor really made me feel at home.

Too soon to notice the results. The doctor seems nice;however, I had a poor experience at the hospital. The hospital I was admitted is the one by the doctors office. The nurse who put my ivy was very nervous and hurt my right arm. I later heard she was new. During the time I was sedated something/someone hurt my left arm as I came home it was hurting so much and the next day I noticed it is bruised. It is also very swollen

Got to say he was very easy to understand and told me the risk I faced due to a certain condition I have. He gave me a recommendation of someone that can do what I wanted. I wrote a review before my procedure and was simply blown away by the amazing staff and treatment I received there and now it's one day after my procedure and I'm simply elated with my experience. Dr. Baumholtz is a true artist. I've never had any cosmetic surgery done before so I didn't know what it would be like and I was worried at first, but they really do know what they're doing and gave me exactly what I hoped I would have without me even having to ask for it. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get cosmetic surgery to go to SACS for the wonderful staff, the reliabiliable doctors and over all 5 star experience!!!!! You won't be disappointed!

I haven't even had the procedure done yet and I'm already impressed! I had a very tight schedule and had to have my dates rushed, but the staff was so understanding, considerate and not to mention willing to work with me. They were able to work with my tight schedule right down to the minute and answer all of my questions and concerns like pros! I'm so excited about my procedure tomorrow I just can't wait! The staff was very professional and friendly. They did not make my wife or I feel uncomfortable at all even though we are both very self conscience about what we were there to consult about. Dr Ortegon was informative and understanding of our needs and wants. He even advised me to do two less expensive procedures rather than more expensive ones. We are both scheduled for procedures with Dr Ortegon in the near future.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Ortegon and his staff. I'm only 2 days post surgery and I couldn't be happier! From the second I called the office to schedule a consult, to my actual surgery date, everyone has been amazing! Dr. Ortegon and his staff went out of their way to make myself and my husband comfortable. I knew as soon as I stepped into his office and was greeted by his staff, that I had made the right choice. The staff were extremely professional and courteous. I was about 15 minutes late for my appointment and they still were able to see me...thank goodness! Dr. Ortegon was very precise and explained everything that would be done during surgery. I felt comfortable and will most likely use him as my surgeon.

i was cold for coming in to early , but i read up on botox, need to come in before it wears off. plus im not a rich woman, sometine i have a little extra where i may go in, results, were not the best afriad to call and get scold, i payed for fillers as well not the best results eihter for juvaderm which i have had with dr. mario diana in past. but oh well who really cares as long as they take your money

The office is very trans friendly. Dr. B did not rushed and he took his time with me in the office and made sure all my concerns was addressed and answered. Staff is not organized, have poor communication and (Cynthia) pushes new services on patients. I scheduled an appointment for Juvederm with the Dr. Met with Cynthia who did not give me Juvederm but recommended needling. I made my quarterly appointment for botox with the Dr. (I do not want to see Cynthia) and was scheduled with Cynthia for Juvederm. I rescheduled, wait for an hour to be asked if my appointment is with Cynthia for Juvederm. There is no trust with the staff, they can not get it correct. Cynthia does not take time with people and pushes needling. I do not trust her. She is rude. Also, if there is an hour wait, communicate to your patients and not make them sit in a room for an hour and wait with no update. Very, very, very unhappy.

When researching for a board certified plastic surgeon, I found Dr. Ortegon. I was pleased with the fast response from scheduling and the availability to be seen within the same week. Wonderful, caring staff working under top-notch physicians. It is worth the long drive to use their services. I live between the Med center and the med center at Stone Oak. I have my pick of over a hundred offices with adequate credentials. After doing my research, I choose to drive to the farthest I can on 1604 to use this group.

I brought my Mother and my 11 month old daughter to my consultation appointment and greatly appreciated that all the staff, including Dr. Ortegon, were so welcoming and nice! I love going to the office. The ladies at reception and the nurses are all wonderful and even when I feel gross and frumpy they welcome me with smiles and seem happy to see me. Despite all my obvious flaws, not once has any procedure other than what I had come for been pushed to me. I'm always in and out of the office quickly, and Dr Ortegon and staff are always professional but personable. I am super happy with the results of my breast reduction and could not have chosen a better staff and doctor for my procedure. Amazing people.

I would recommend Cosmetic Surgery to all my friends. The staff is great, helpful and very friendly. The Staff makes you feel safe and comfortable they are all very knowledgeable. I don't think any of them would recommend something they themselves have not tried. And they got my insurance portion taken care of quickly. The only part I did not like is the waiting in the office you get there 10 mins before your appointment and you still wait 45 mins after your time was set for your appointment.

Great service, was made very comfortable during my surgery. I appreciated the step-by-step walk-through of the process and was not fearful of my procedure. Dr. Ortegon is by far the best surgeon, he mentioned that I was able to take Motrin for the pain after the sedatives wore off, however with his light touch I didn't need any painkillers!! I also want to mentioned that his staff is great, I feel like family when I walk in the office. Thanks for everything! :)

Dr Baumholdtz seemed nice the 10 min I spent with him. Went in for Carpal Tunnel and Trigger thumb need shots for pain, didn't get them was sent for X-ray on hands was supposed to get and appointment for Nerve Test still don't have that 1 week later. Staff more worried about payment than treatment. We will see what happens when I call back on Monday morning. $149.00 up front for 10 min office visit and I have insurance with an HRA. 😕

Dr Baumholtz was awesome and took the time to answer my questions. The only complaint I have is they didn't let me try on different sizes. They machine was a great tool to show you before after but it would be nice to see exactly what the implant or similar size looks like on you.

This office is awesome! Cynthia is the best! The energy there is bright and easy going. The office is clean, beautifully decorated to inspire and one feels welcome as soon as she opens the door. The front desk girls are awesome and friendly, as is all the staff there. They all make you feel very welcome and authentically cared about. My husband went there for Botox, and while he was there expressed that I was interested in breast augmentation. The coordinator at the time was genuine and took the time to talk to him. Have him a $500 off card and I decided to make an appointment a few weeks later. Only to be hung up on twice, and then made an appointment with the new coordinator because the previous one was no longer there. Something that you have to have surgery for is not something to take lightly. I felt pressured and rushed. The whole experience was anything but pleasant. I had surgery a week later, went in for my post op the day after. Was seen 45 minutes passed the appointment time. On top of everything, the receptionist was making a big deal over our baby being there, making it seem like she'd never seen her before. But really she came with me when I was by myself for the consultation. I couldn't help but feel it was because my husband was there with me. To add on top of that my husband asked about the brilliant program( rewards) she proceeded to say oh I can call you to my husband. I must have given her a look because she quickly corrected herself and said or I can call you. Obviously, I'm the patient. Not my husband. I have it 3 stars because the doctor was great. The staff is anything but, unless you're a man.

Dr. Ortegon is an amazing Dr. who made me feel comfortable and at ease the day of my surgery. The staff at the hospital were extremely polite and explained all the steps they were taking thoroughly. Even the next day i went in his office for my appointment and everyone was extremely comforting. One of his nurses asked me to call her once I got home to make sure I was okay which I thought was incredible. I do not remember her name but she has beautiful colored eyes. I was very pleased with the whole procedure and can't wait to see the end result once my swelling goes down. I highly recommend San Antonio Cosmetic Surgery for your cosmetic desires.

I would've appreciated meeting the doctor and having the doctor address some concerns that I had. The tech had only one year experience but acted like a doctor. I did not feel confident that the procedure was done correctly and I did not really like the personality of the staff members. I did not like that they use permanent ink on my body. I thought the experience could've been much better.

Great First time experience! Immediately felt at home the way office staff greeted me, processed my insurance information and made me feel comfortable. Being able to get a facial for my birthday that was basically free was a real treat for me. I had a mastectomy and reconstruction earlier this year, and this was a real highlight of my year. Amy did a very nice job, and I think the facial left me with very moist, soft skin. My usual facials in Colorado Springs have included hot mittens for my hands as well as hot rocks for my upper back and neck; however, this was focused on my face. I am thankful that this facial was even offered to me!

Surprising! Well not so much for this office, staff and doctor. I came in for my now six week follow-up and I still received exceptional service, friendly staff that call me by name, smiles are genuine and Doctor Ortegon (though I noticed he was in the middle of a meeting when I walked in) came into to my examination room within a few minutes, did a thorough exam and simply makes the doctor visit experience - well surprisingly different.

My experience at your office was great. The doctor and staff treated me courteously. Everyone made me feel at ease. I usually am very nervous when I go to see a doctor for the first time but the manner that you treated me was great. I felt comfortable and relaxed. The nursing staff and front desk continue to amaze me with excellent customer service, responsiveness & willingness to help make my life easier during my recovery. I did a lot of research and waiting before making the decision to move forward with Dr. Ortegon; and, though my doctor's credentials are impeccable, there should be another designation for superior staff.

For over 9 months I researched area doctors in San Antonio and Dr Ortegon and his staff are the best. He did my surgery and it is looking very good. I am very pleased with his work and treatment. The surgeon i check with prio made me feel really uncomfortable. In my opinion, I felt the staff and doctor were very new. Dr Ortegon and his staff make you feel like you are in a professional office with experienced surgeons. Their office was very clean and their gowns are fresh when handed to you. For me it takes an experienced surgeon/staff with pleasing personalities to give you the peace of mind and the assurance that I have chosen the right surgeon. I had surgery at Christus Santa Rosa and everyone was very nice. My Anesthesiologist was also very nice. Both my doctors speak with so much love for their patients. I highly recommend them.

I came in for final follow up as agreed when I signed up for trial procedure. I waited in office for 45 minutes and never saw the doctor. I left. The doctor is not the only one with a schedule. Not respectful of patient's time. Not satisfied with procedure results either. The aesthetician who performed the procedure was very nice and professional, so thumbs up for her.

Everyone is super nice, the only problem I am having is getting a one line letter for my employer that says I am having surgery, the medical term of the surgery, date of surgery and an idea of how long I will be out. Surgery is in less than one week. I can't answer for results of surgery I haven't had surgery. I trusting my doctor

The entire staff at SACS made me feel comfortable in a situation that I was worried would be embarrassing. The value of the service that they provide is priceless. Amy is really great. However I am not getting results, even though we have turned up the laser intensity. I think it may be due to the fact that she is moving the laser too fast and therefore only 3-4 tiny spots per line down my leg are getting hit with concentrated laser beams. I mentioned this to Amy, and she didn't try adjusting. I know that it probably takes much longer to have the laser beams emit at every point of my leg, however I am fairly certain it will yield better results. For this reason, I scheduled my next appointment at the end of the day so that Amy will have plenty of time to thoroughly laser my legs. I hope this message makes it to whomever it needs to in order to ensure that something will be done. Thank you

My experience with San Antonio Cosmetic Surgery was a great one. I continue to share my experience with family and friends. The Doctor and his staff made me feel comfortable and at easy with the procedure I had. I suffered no complications and with the right advice and care everything went smoothly. The follow ups continued to show great promise as i healed. With that I have begun to look into getting a few more enhancements that are subtle for my overall appearance. Dr. Ortegon is doing wonders helping me achieve beautiful and natural results..for that i am grateful.

I always have a great experience at SA Cosmetic Surgery. The staff is kind, intelligent, knowledgeable about the services, and honest. The doctors are superior, educated beyond what is necessary, board-certified, and trustworthy. They do not try to up-sell you, but they do give you really comprehensive medical care and service. I went in initially for a consult for fixing a facial scar and was so impressed with the results from that process (Skin Genesis Laser), that I've gone on to get some other skin care procedures (Botox and IPL). I like a natural look and they do a great job of delivering that, I also found some great products to care for my sensitive skin. I am a health care professional, so I did my research and paid close attention to their processes (sterility, technique, verification that they carry in-date, brand name Botox, etc.) - they are truly excellent.

I was definitely apprehensive about moving forward with my surgery and can say with 100% certainty that this is the right place for me. I had previously consulted with Dr. Ortegon and just wasn't ready to move forward. When I came back in to re-visit my issues, I was greeted by a cheerful, professional receptionist and then the intake nurse spent enough time with me to put my mind at ease as she took my vitals, performed an initial evaluation & took some pictures for later reference. After that, Dr. Ortegon's easy demeanor, confident communication style and genuine interest & compassion was evident. Most all of my anxiety was put to rest immediately and now I am moving forward - a new day, a new me.

Dr.Baumholtz and the staff at SACS made me feel very comfortable the moment I walked in the door. Their professionalism and care went far beyond my expectations. My clinical coordinator, Carissa, was also extremely helpful in planning my surgery and keeping me informed what I needed regarding my post operative care. I will definitely be returning to SACS and Dr.Baumholtz for any future procedures!

Good experience. Everyone was very professional. I think fees should be discussed with patient though. I had to ask the cost of the botox. No treatment costs were presented. Fortunately, I can afford botox since I'd been getting for years but some people may have not expected a $400. plus bill.
